Where to Donate for Those Impacted by LA Wildfires

Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the LA Wildfires. We are thinking about all the people in LA going through this devastation here in Texas. The best we can do to help is to donate to charities helping citizens, firefighters and the city. Below are a few charities we found supporting the city and surrounding areas.

Red Cross of LA

The Red Cross of LA is one of the best ways to help the region and is currently supporting those impacted by wildfire activity in the LA region. To donate click here. You can also find a shelter here.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army provides critical aid, shelter, food, and support for wildfire survivors and first responders in Los Angeles. To donate click here.

LA Food Bank

The Food Bank is accepting financial donations and food donations at our two distribution centers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, located at 1734 East 41st Street and 2300 Pellissier Place. Project Hope

Project HOPE is on the ground in Los Angeles in response to the historic fires. Project HOPE’s emergency team is assessing the needs at local shelters and prepared to support health workers and marginalized communities to fill the gaps in needs for shelter, critical supplies, mental health care, and other critical needs. Donations to the YMCA will provide the following essential services to Angelenos who have been directly impacted by the devastating wildfires: Free day passes to displaced residents, Offer shelter, showers, and basic amenities, Childcare services for first responders and displaced families (5yrs and up), Expanded hours of operation to meet the growing needs of our displaced Angelenos, Mental health services for community members and resource guidance, Distribution of emergency supplies, and so much more! SPCALA’s Disaster Animal Response Team is seeking donations to support emergency services, such as temporary animal shelters and front-line veterinary care. To donate click here.
