About Venus

Founded in 1982 in Jacksonville, Florida, VENUS’ heritage is rooted in swimwear. Unconventional beginnings designing posing suits for bodybuilding competitors led our founders to sell bikini tops and bottoms separately to fit their unique measurements. Customers could mix-and-match tops and bottoms to choose their most flattering pairing, making VENUS the originators of swim separates. With size offerings from 2-24 and a focus on fit and quality, VENUS strives to design flattering styles that inspire confidence.

VENUS is committed to socially- and environmentally-responsible business practices that positively impact both people and the planet.By using recycled fibers, VENUS conserves natural resources, reduce the use of chemicals and emit fewer carbon emissions in the production process. From swimwear made of recycled materials to the solar energy that powers VENUS’ headquarters, the brand is actively working to integrate efficient resources throughout the production of our products.
