Coined as the Uber of Glam, the Glam App allows customers to ‘Book an Appointment’ for hair styling, make-up and nail services that comes right to your door. Today, the on-demand beauty platform unveiled two new celebrity inspired looks, the Paris and the Hollywood created by hairstylist Joey Maalouf. The Paris features the heiress’s signature eyeliner and nude eyes, lips and cheeks.
The Hollywood look is made for the red carpet that features shiny locks and waved to perfection. The Glam App also launched a new VVIP option, which includes longer appointment times at slightly higher price points with celebrity stylists exclusively in NYC and LA.
These are just one of many new changes the Glam App is doing since Paris Hilton became an investor in May 2019. Given Paris’s popularity and brand this is a win for them with more surprises to be launched throughout the year.
Per Paris’s Forbes interview “I’ve been a client and using The Glam App for four years now,” she said in an interview surrounding her exciting business venture. The app was founded by celebrity makeup artist and hair stylist Joey Maalouf alongside his first partner and CEO Katrina Barton in 2015.
Since then, its services have become available in 23 cities worldwide. “I think it’s the future of beauty services because just at the touch of a button, you can have an incredible hair, makeup, or nail stylist come to your front door and get you ready,” Hilton added. “It makes things so convenient and it’s literally like the Uber for beauty and right now, I’m obviously running a huge business, but a big priority of mine for the past year has been investing in companies that I believe in.”
