The Abigail E. Keller Foundation’s Annual Fundraising Gala “Abbey Lights up COTA” Returns in August

On August 24, 2024, The Abigail E. Keller Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports medically fragile and terminally-ill children and families, will host their annual fundraising gala, Abbey Lights up COTA. Chet Garner, Executive Producer of The Daytripper, will be the guest emcee and local celebrity for the Gala beginning at 5 p.m.

Taking place at the Circuit of the America’s, the evening will consist of an array of culinary delights, music, and entertainment with auction prizes available throughout the night.  All funds raised will be going towards the Foundation’s mission to support families throughout central Texas who are caring for medically fragile children.

In its 5 years of operation, the Abigail E. Keller Foundation has raised over $920,000 that provides direct financial aid to more than 165 families navigating care for medically fragile children. The direct impact of this fundraising includes $115,000 to direct family and community grants; $130,000 to the Dell Children’s At-Home Hospice Program; $105,000 to the Dell Children’s Comprehensive Care Clinic; and the remaining $572,000 dedicated toward establishing Abbey’s House, the first pediatric respite/hospice facility in Central Texas.

The Abigail E. Keller Foundation hopes to reach a fundraising milestone of one million dollars in support of all of their ongoing programs with this year’s annual gala through the support of sponsors, ticket sales and guest generosity in night-of raffles and auctions. Tickets are on sale now HERE
