Maison Kitsuné Reveals the Sora Runners & Chiru Trainers Sneakers

French-Japanese lifestyle brand, Maison Kitsuné, is expanding into the footwear category with the introduction of two new sneakers: the Sora Runners & Chiru Trainers. The new collection showcases the evolution of a new lifestyle and performance-functioning sneaker.

In celebration of the Sora Runners & Chiru Trainers sneaker launch, Maison Kitsuné has partnered with Places + Faces, the global creative community with music and culture at its epicenter, for a new campaign.

Taking center stage of the campaign are the Sora Runners – whose name is adapted from the Japanese word for “sky”, both in allusion to the brand’s heritage and the shoe’s ultra-light weight. While alluding to the nineties yet appearing contemporary in their technical design, the Sora is designed to seamlessly integrate into the mix-and-match Maison Kitsuné world: to suit any situation.

With a sporty silhouette illustrated with a subtly graphic Profile Fox motif, alongside the Maison Kitsuné handwriting embossed across the back of the form, and a Profile Fox sole which results in a signature footprint, they are stamped with the language of the brand. A rich mix of technical materials and leather evoke a practical everyday, yet luxurious, spirit.

Alongside black and classic white colourways, colour combination of neutrals matches the Flash Fox ready to wear collection, and distinctly roots the Sora in the inspiration of the season.
