FINE CHAOS Reveals Fall/Winter 2025 Collection ‘ATARAXIS’ During Copenhagen Fashion Week

During Copenhagen Fashion Week, FINE CHAOS debuted their 8th collection for Fall/Winter 2025 titled, ‘ATARAXIS.’ Embracing its storytelling tradition through design, FINE CHAOS unveils the Fall/Winter 2025 collection, ‘ATARAXIS’.

The runway show for ATARAXIS was designed as an immersive arena centered around Danish music group Kind mod Kind, as well as 20 actors scarcely clad in bandages portraying outcasts of society – a common theme in the FINE CHAOS storytelling.

This season, the fashion house delves into a post-apocalyptic narrative, capturing moments of hope amidst the chaos. Inspired by the ancient Greek philosophy where ‘Ataraxis’ signifies ‘peace of mind’, this collection encapsulates the human spirit’s resilience in finding tranquility amid turmoil.

The FW25 collection’s color palette plays with contrasts, juxtaposing muted, steampunk-inspired shades with vivid, almost ironic hues. The use of rich textures like canvas, satin, and rigid PVC symbolizes the interplay between fragility and fortitude, chaos and calm.

The collection’s portrayal of a butterfly’s journey through hell is vividly realized through powerful music and dramatic staging, embodying the delicate beauty that emerges from the depths of darkness.

Silhouettes are intentionally contrasted, evoking both the comforting embrace of hope and the suffocating pressure of responsibility. As a testament to the brand’s commitment to responsible design, sustainability remains at the core, with low-water dyes, upcycled fabrics, and minimal overproduction.

Moreover, in a continued effort to democratize fashion, FINE CHAOS allocated more than half of the runway tickets to its community, the FINE CHAOS “society”.

Through ATARAXIS, FINE CHAOS invites the fashion industry to partake in a meaningful conversation, crafting designs that not only reflect our times but also serve as a beacon of hope.
