It’s time for your weekly update for SXSW 2018 from your guru on ground zero, me! Below are this week’s updates and deadlines for SXSW 2018.
SXSW 2018 Interactive Innovation Awards
The SXSW Interactive Innovation Awards gala ceremony is on Tuesday evening, March 13th.
- SXSW is still accepting entries on these topics: “AI & Machine Learning,” “Health, Med, & BioTech,” “Responsive Design,” “SCIFI No Longer,” “Smart Cities,” and “Wearable Tech.” Finalists in these categories will be honored at a gala ceremony.
- The online application form takes only a few minutes to complete and application deadline is the end of the day on Friday, November 10. Note: Per SXSW, unlike in previous years they will not accept late entries!
SXSW 2018 Music Festival Updates

- SXSW 2018 Spotify Playlist, YouTube Music Video Playlist, and SXSWfm will have playlists of artists performing at SXSW
