Krampus’ Cove Pop-Up Makes its Eerie Holiday Return with New Chilling Locations

Award-winning Halloween pop-up bar, Black Lagoon’s demonic sister pop-up holiday bar, Krampus’ Cove, is returning to Los Angeles for its third year and New York City for its second year. For the first time, Krampus’s Cove will launch in four new markets: Austin, Denver, San Antonio, and San Francisco.

Paying homage to the eerie legend of Krampus, the horned figure from Alpine folklore notorious for scaring naughty children, visitors will also encounter mischievous elves, sinister snowmen, and more. Disturbingly festive decorations will fill each venue including black Christmas trees adorned with doll heads, skeletons, skulls, and faux severed body parts. The atmosphere is further enhanced by a playlist featuring eerie versions of Christmas classics.

Krampus’ Cove guests can expect to enjoy a selection of creative cocktails inspired by frightful festivities. This year’s sponsor brands include Tromba Tequila and Tromba Cafeto Coffee Liqueur, The House of Lustau, Bitter Queens Bitter, and Maker’s Mark 46 during the pop-up experience throughout the month of December.

About Krampus’ Cove

Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage ideated their first concept, Black Lagoon, after running a pop-up at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans’ beloved Dungeon Bar. The first official installment of Black Lagoon took over a popular bar in Toronto in October 2021 and was a massive success to cocktail and Halloween enthusiasts alike. This year, they set up shop in 35 cities internationally throughout North America, Mexico and Canada. With the success of Black Lagoon under their belt, the two wanted to transform another holiday into a spooky wonderland and launched Krampus’ Cove in Los Angeles in 2022, expanded to a second location in New York in 2023, and expanded to include six locations across the United States in 2024.
